What the Recruitment Administrator job involves
As the Recruitment Administrator, you'll provide administrative support across recruitment, HR and the wider business, including:
- Managing recruitment administration from advertising vacancies through to onboarding new employees.
- Communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Preparing employment documentation and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Coordinating interviews, inductions and onboarding activities.
- Maintaining recruitment and HR systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Supporting training administration and maintaining employee records.
- Producing reports, updating spreadsheets and preparing business documentation.
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinating meetings, diary management and general Head Office administration.
- Supporting managers and colleagues with a range of administrative tasks across the business.
- Assisting with business improvement projects and identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes.
- Providing additional office support whenever required to ensure the smooth running of the Head Office.
Skills required
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy office and takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within a Recruitment Administrator, HR Administrator, Office Administrator or Business Support role.
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding or HR administration would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with the confidence to work on your own initiative.
- A flexible approach and willingness to support colleagues across the wider business.
- A calm, professional manner with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and building positive working relationships.
