Are you a Management Accountant or Accountant, who is immediately available and looking to work for a friendly and supportive team, who values open and honest communication and a collaborative work environment? Due to internal movement, they are looking for someone to join their friendly finance team initially on a temporary basis but could possibly become permanent for the right candidate.
Working for a family run business, within the central Hull area, this is easily commutable from the outskirts of the town centre, Beverley, Bridlington & Hornsea area.
What the Management Accountant job involves
- Monthly preparation of management accounts
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly Profit and Loss analysis
- Preparation of weekly cash-flow statements
- Perform month-end close
- Assist with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts
- Assist in the preparation of annual Budgets
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Skills required
- Experience of working in a similar role previously
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Great Communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and produce accurate reports
- Working to strict deadlines, you will need to be self-managed and able to prioritise your own workload
- You will need to be able to communicate effectively with all members of the team and be a team player
- Fully or part qualified ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience
Other information
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Possibility of hybrid working once through a probationary period.
