This is a newly created role to support the Head of Division and lead a key area of the business that plays a significant part in overall income.

What the Insurance Team Manager job involves
You’ll lead a team of six advisors, focusing on performance, development and day-to-day support. The role offers variety, combining leadership, mentoring and operational input, with the opportunity to handle more complex client work and, potentially, develop your own book of business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of six insurance advisors
- Supporting continuous development through training, coaching and ongoing learning
- Helping manage and embed the team within an existing client base
- Potentially building your own portfolio, with a focus on more complex cases
- Working closely with the Head of Division to align team goals with business objectives
- Contributing to the rollout of new development plans and objectives for the next financial year
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys empowering others, taking ownership, and supporting sustainable business growth.
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to speak with candidates who bring proven leadership experience and a proactive approach to personal development.
You’ll ideally have:
- Clear leadership ability with the confidence to inspire and guide a team
- A good level of insurance knowledge
- Previous management/team leadership experience in a professional environment
- A commitment to learning and progression (Cert / Dip preferred, or willingness to work towards)
- The ability to manage a book of business and support clients with more complex needs
- A self-motivated, driven approach and a genuine desire to succeed
