We are delighted to be working with a growing organisation with sites across East Yorkshire. They have recently restructured the Human Resources team and are looking for a HR Adviser to join them initially on a 1 year temporary contract, however this could go permanent for the right person.
What the HR Adviser job involves
- Providing ER and employment law advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Advising on health and wellbeing and occupational health.
- Developing collaborative approaches to manage and employee issues / concerns
- Keeping advice and guidance in line with HR policies and procedures.
- Take notes / minutes during formal meetings, coordinating and preparing packs.
- Responsible for the absence and sickness management system and reporting.
- Work with the wider HR team with recruitment processes, probation periods, fixed term contracts and inductions.
- Working with external recruitment agencies around recruitment.
Skills required
- HR Adviser experience essential
- CIPD Qualification is desirable
- Understanding of Employment Law and continuous CPD
- Experience of creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures
- Highly organised and able to work on your own initiative

- 37 hours Monday to Friday

- Dynamic working to work from Bridlington / Scarborough sites with travel to other sites in East Yorkshire when required
